Heartbreak Recovery
When relationships end, we often lose more than the relationship itself. We can lose confidence, direction, identity, and trust in ourselves. Together, we’ll begin rebuilding.
Helping people heal from heartbreak, loss, trauma, and life transitions so they can reconnect with their authentic selves.
There comes a point in many of our lives when we realise we’ve lost touch with who we really are. Perhaps heartbreak changed you. Perhaps trauma taught you to hide parts of yourself. Perhaps you’ve spent so long being what everyone else needed you to be that you’ve forgotten what you need.
At Liv Unwritten, I help people reconnect with who they are beneath the pain, the labels, and the stories they’ve been carrying for far too long. Because healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you’ve always been.
A gentle space to rebuild self-trust, uncover what is true for you, and move forward with more clarity, confidence, and compassion.
When relationships end, we often lose more than the relationship itself. We can lose confidence, direction, identity, and trust in ourselves. Together, we’ll begin rebuilding.
If you’ve lost touch with who you are, we’ll work together to uncover your values, reconnect with your authentic self, and create a life that feels aligned with who you truly are.
Painful experiences can leave lasting emotional footprints. Through compassionate coaching, you’ll begin understanding your patterns, rebuilding self-trust, and moving forward with greater confidence.
Whether you’re navigating a breakup, career change, empty nest, loss, or a fresh start, coaching can help you move through uncertainty with clarity and purpose.
Healing from heartbreak, loss, trauma, and life’s hardest chapters so you can reconnect with who you’ve always been beneath it all.
There comes a point in many of our lives when we look in the mirror and barely recognise the person staring back at us. Not because we’ve physically changed, but because somewhere along the way, we’ve drifted from ourselves.
Heartbreak can change us. Loss can reshape us. Trauma can silence parts of us. Relationships, expectations, labels, and environments can slowly convince us to become versions of ourselves that feel safer, smaller, quieter, or more acceptable to others.
Before we know it, we’re carrying identities that were never truly ours: the strong one, the people-pleaser, the survivor, the one who keeps going no matter what, the one who never asks for help.
I know this because I’ve lived it. There have been chapters of my life where pain felt louder than hope, when heartbreak left me questioning my worth, and when difficult relationships made me feel disconnected from the person I was beneath it all.
The journey back to myself wasn’t quick, and it certainly wasn’t easy. It required unlearning old stories, questioning old beliefs, facing painful truths, and reconnecting with the parts of myself I had abandoned just to survive.
Liv Unwritten was born from that journey — a space for the people who feel lost, the people rebuilding after heartbreak, the people healing from trauma, and the people who know they are meant for more but don’t quite know how to find their way back.
Your story isn’t over. The most authentic version of you is still there, waiting to be remembered.
Why do we lose ourselves? Most people don’t wake up one morning and consciously decide to lose themselves. It happens gradually through painful experiences, criticism, expectations, survival, and adaptation.
Psychologists often describe this as a disruption of our sense of identity — the internal understanding of who we are, what we value, and how we see our place in the world. When identity becomes heavily influenced by external pressure rather than internal values, we can begin to feel disconnected, lost, anxious, or emotionally exhausted.
Human beings are wired for connection. Because belonging once meant safety and survival, rejection and criticism can feel profoundly painful. Many of us learn from a young age that being accepted often means becoming quieter, less emotional, more agreeable, or more successful.
Many people unknowingly build their identity around labels given to them by others — the difficult one, the sensitive one, the responsible one, the black sheep, the caretaker, the strong one. Over time, we can stop asking “Who am I?” and start asking “Who am I expected to be?”
Heartbreak can create self-concept confusion, where people struggle to understand who they are outside of a relationship. Trauma can push the mind into survival mode, turning protection into pattern — hiding emotions, avoiding vulnerability, losing trust in self, and seeking validation externally.
Constant exposure to other people’s curated lives can quietly intensify comparison, self-doubt, and emotional disconnection. The danger is not only comparison itself, but the way it can convince us that who we are is somehow not enough.
Losing yourself doesn’t mean you’ve disappeared. It means parts of you have been buried beneath fear, heartbreak, grief, conditioning, and the need to survive. Healing is not about becoming someone new; it is about removing the layers that were never yours to carry.

I don’t believe you’re broken. I believe that life, heartbreak, trauma, relationships, and expectations can pull us away from who we truly are.
My role isn’t to tell you who to become. My role is to help you remember who you were before the world convinced you to be anyone different.

Coaching is a supportive, forward-focused process designed to help you reconnect with yourself, navigate life transitions, build confidence, and create meaningful change. Together, we explore where you are, where you want to be, and the steps that will help you get there.
Coaching is for individuals who feel disconnected from themselves, are moving through a major life change, struggling with self-worth, recovering from a breakup, or simply seeking greater clarity, confidence, and fulfilment.
Your free discovery call is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your goals and challenges, and determine whether coaching is the right fit for you. There is no pressure or obligation — just a supportive conversation.
Sessions are typically held online via video call, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own space. Details will be provided when you book.
Every person’s journey is unique. Some clients benefit from a few focused sessions, while others choose ongoing support over several months. We can discuss what feels most aligned with your needs during your discovery call.
No. Coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions and processing past experiences. Coaching focuses on personal growth, self-discovery, goal setting, and creating positive change moving forward.
That’s completely normal. Many clients feel uncertain before their first session. Coaching provides a safe, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are and take things at your own pace.
Simply book a free discovery call. We’ll explore your goals, answer any questions you may have, and decide together on the best next steps.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey and rediscover who you are beneath the expectations, pain, and self-doubt, I’d love to support you.
